लाल किले के पास हुए धमाके में Hyundai i20 कार को आखिर कौन चला रहा था, इस सवाल का जवाब अब साफ हो गया है. दिल्ली पुलिस ने पुष्टि की है कि इस धमाके को डॉ. उमर उन नबी ने ही अंजाम दिया. यह पहचान DNA टेस्टिंग से की गई, जिसमें उमर का DNA उसकी मां के DNA से मैच हो गया.
CCTV फुटेज में भी उमर को देखा गया था, जब वह Hyundai i20 लेकर फरीदाबाद से दिल्ली की ओर निकल रहा था. धमाके के बाद कार के अंदर उसका पैर स्टीयरिंग और एक्सीलेरेटर के बीच फंसा हुआ मिला, जिससे साफ हुआ कि blast के समय वही गाड़ी चला रहा था.

DNA क्या होता है?
DNA हमारे शरीर का genetic code है. शरीर के लगभग हर cell में DNA मौजूद रहता है. इसे एक तरह का unique पहचान कोड मान सकते हैं. हर इंसान का DNA अलग होता है, इसलिए crime investigation में ये सबसे भरोसेमंद पहचान मान जाता है.
DNA कई चीजों से लिया जा सकता है—खून, लार (saliva), बाल, नाखून, हड्डी, दांत, semen, tissues आदि. ये sample साफ तरीके से collect कर सुरक्षित रखे जाते हैं.
DNA Sample Match कैसे होता है?
जांच एजेंसियां एक known DNA (जैसे suspect या relative) और एक unknown DNA (crime scene से मिला sample) का आपस में स्ट्रक्चर मिलाती हैं. DNA के खास हिस्सों, जिन्हें STRs कहा जाता है, उन्हें compare किया जाता है. अगर patterns मैच हों, तो identity confirm हो जाती है.
भारत में DNA Testing कहां होती है?
देश में DNA टेस्ट मुख्य रूप से CFSL और FSL लैब्स में होता है. भारत में अभी 7 CFSL, करीब 32 State FSL और 97 Regional FSL काम कर रहे हैं. सरकारी लैब में DNA matching की कीमत लगभग ₹5,000–₹20,000, जबकि private centers में ₹10,000–₹70,000 तक हो सकती है.
इसी scientific process की मदद से यह पुष्टि हुई कि धमाके के समय Hyundai i20 कार ड्राइव कर रहा व्यक्ति डॉ. उमर ही था.
