At least this has been the case – until now. Scent TV has gone on display at CIIE’s China pavilion to make entertainment more realistic.

With the help of AI and digital olfactory technology, Scent TV releases the odor of whatever appears on screen through a special device known as the “scent host” after receiving signals from videos or livestreams in real time.
