Xpeng releases new video to refute doubts that its robot ‘IRON’ is human
Chinese electric vehicle maker Xpeng’s new humanoid robot looked so realistic that netizens thought there was a person inside. The company’s CEO even had to release a video breaking down its design – with clips showing staff slicing through the robot’s ‘skin’ to prove it’s all machine.
Named IRON, the robot features a humanoid spine, bionic muscles and synthetic skin that Xpeng says can be customised by colour and body type. #xpeng #ironrobot #chinanews #china
