Jaguar Land Rover Cyber Attack: Damage Beyond Repair? | WION
The recent cyber attack on Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) could not have hit the carmaker at a worse time. The latest batch of new registration plates became available in the United Kingdom on Monday, 1st September, making the month a crucial time for carmakers to clock a substantial chunk of sales. And with JLR’s production suspended till at least 10th September 2025, the Tata Motors-owned carmaker is staring at substantial losses with each passing day. Moreover, JLR is yet to comment on the possibility of the disruption lasting longer, potentially weeks, until regular operations are resumed.
