Aliya Rahman is a U.S. citizen who was violently arrested and detained by federal immigration officers last month in Minneapolis, later released without charge. She attended the State of the Union address Tuesday as a guest of Congressmember Ilhan Omar but she was ejected from the chamber after silently standing during President Trump’s speech.
