Who is Reza Pahlavi, the figurehead the Iranian community is divided on?
Iranian crown prince Reza Pahlavi, who currently lives in the U.S., has said he wants to play a role in Iran’s transition of power should the Islamic Republic fall in its war with the U.S. and Israel. But critics like Kaveh Shahrooz, a lawyer and Macdonald Laurier Institute fellow, say there needs to be more scrutiny around the movement elevating Pahlavi to a position of leadership to avoid falling into past government failures.
