We will deliver what we set out in our election manifesto: PAP chief Lawrence Wong
People’s Action Party (PAP) chief Lawrence Wong recapped the government’s priorities at PAP Convention on Sunday (Nov 9), saying the party will deliver what it set out in its election manifesto.
He listed the following priorities: Securing Singapore’s place in a changed world, keeping the economy competitive and strong, and providing Singaporeans assurance and support, to keep the society strong and united.
“Amidst these shifts, new opportunities will emerge. But to seize them, we must be ready – ready to question old assumptions, refresh our thinking and update our policies. We must dare to take risks, move quickly and innovate boldly,” he said.
