We Talk: Malaysian youth shares her views and expectations on President Xi Jinping’s speech #CGTN

The 2025 APEC meetings concluded on Saturday, and Chinese President Xi Jinping announced that south China’s Shenzhen will host the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting in 2026.

Tang Yan Joo, a Malaysian student at Tsinghua University, said that the president’s speech at the first session of the 32nd APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting offered meaningful inspiration for the future growth and development of the Asia-Pacific region. Looking ahead to the 2026 APEC meeting, Tang expressed hopes for a greater emphasis on practical solutions, such as increasing trade, strengthening digital and green connections, and making development fairer for everyone.
