War leaves Gaza’s children with deep physical wounds and lasting trauma
Nearly 70,000 Palestinians have been killed over the last two years of fighting between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. The scale of the death has been overwhelming, but the toll on children is appalling: tens of thousands killed, and thousands more left with grievous wounds of war, treated with near-medieval means due to lack of supplies. Leila Molana-Allen reports on what lies ahead for them.
