USCBC president: US, China are the world’s most innovative economies
Sean Stein, president of the US-China Business Council, said in a recent interview with CGTN America that the significance of US-China relations goes beyond their status as the world’s two largest economies – they are also the most dynamic and innovative. Noting that China now develops 37% of new molecular drugs globally, up from just 5% five years ago, Stein highlighted life sciences as a promising area for collaboration, especially in tackling shared health challenges such as cancer and diabetes.
