Civic leaders, labour unions, faith groups and community organisations rallied in Minneapolis following a major anti-ICE march and a statewide call for an economic strike dubbed the “Day of Truth & Freedom”. The demonstrations brought thousands into the streets to protest federal Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations and a broader surge of enforcement actions in the state. Hundreds of local businesses closed in solidarity, and clergy members were arrested as part of peaceful sit-ins and rallies.
