US lawmakers say Ghislaine Maxwell refused to speak in deposition
Jeffrey Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell refused to answer questions during a deposition, according to members of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Republicans James Comer and Andy Biggs told reporters that her attorney said she would speak if granted clemency by President Trump. “The United States government is engaged in an active cover-up,” said Democrat Melanie Stansbury.
