US-Israeli strikes on Iran hit major Tehran university
The US and Israel expanded their strikes on Iran on April 3, targeting a mix of strategic and civilian sites, including Shahid Beheshti University, one of the country’s leading academic institutions. The strike follows a series of attacks on university campuses and comes just days after the Iran University of Science and Technology was heavily damaged. As CGTN’s Sepehr Saremi reports, key research facilities at Shahid Beheshti University, including its laser and plasma laboratory, along with surrounding buildings, have suffered extensive damage.
