यूपी में SIR के बाद फाइनल वोटर लिस्ट जारी हो गई है..यूपी में करीब 2 करोड़ लोगों के नाम वोटर लिस्ट से कटे हैं….SIR से पहले राज्य में करीब 15 करोड़ 44 लाख वोटर थे, जो अब घटकर 13 करोड़ 39 लाख 84 हज़ार 792 रह गए हैं..खास बात ये है कि फाइनल लिस्ट में भले ही 2 करोड़ 5 लाख वोटर्स के नाम कटे हों, लेकिन ये जनवरी में जारी ड्राफ्ट लिस्ट से ज़्यादा है..6 जनवरी को जब ड्राफ्ट लिस्ट आई थी..उसमें 2 करोड़ 89 लाख वोटर्स के नाम कटे थे..लेकिन फाइनल लिस्ट में करीब 84 लाख वोटर्स बढ़ गए हैं..चुनाव आयोग ने बताया कि ड्राफ्ट लिस्ट में वोटरों की सही मैपिंग नहीं हो पाई थी..इसलिए तब ज्यादा लोगों के नाम कट गए थे….BLOs ने घर घर जाकर मैपिंग की….राजनीतिक पार्टियों ने भी मुहिम चलाई…इसका असर हुआ…जिन 84 लाख वोटर्स के नाम कटे थे….वो दोबारा वोटर लिस्ट में जुड़ गए…
Following the Summary Revision (SIR) process in Uttar Pradesh, the final voter list has been released. Approximately 20 million names have been removed from the voter list in the state. Prior to the SIR, the state had around 154.4 million voters; this figure has now dropped to 133,984,792. A significant point to note is that while the final list shows the removal of 20.5 million names, this figure is actually lower than that recorded in the draft list released in January. When the draft list was published on January 6, it indicated that the names of 28.9 million voters had been struck off. However, the final list reflects an increase of approximately 8.4 million voters compared to that draft. The Election Commission explained that accurate mapping of voters could not be achieved during the preparation of the draft list, which is why a larger number of names were removed at that stage. Subsequently, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) conducted door-to-door mapping, and political parties also launched campaigns to address the issue. These efforts yielded results: the 8.4 million voters whose names had been removed were successfully reinstated in the voter list.
