“I’m expecting the UN General Assembly to make it very clear that every country in the world, including Ukraine, has a right to its own territory and nobody is allowed to invade,” said Annalena Baerbock, the current president of the UN General Assembly, adding that “the war in Ukraine has to end,” and that if the UN Security Council remains deadlocked by vetoes, it is the General Assembly that must “stand up” to defend the UN Charter.
