TTT Live Online Officers Seize Rifle During Operation Steady G.U.A.R.D.

An illegal firearm was discovered during a police operation in San Juan earlier this week.

During Operation Steady G.U.A.R.D., officers of the San Juan and Santa Cruz Criminal Investigations Departments were alerted to a forested area along Germain Avenue, Petit Bourg, where a thorough search of the area was conducted.

Upon investigation, officers discovered and seized a rifle concealed within some bushes. The rifle was removed from the location and is expected to undergo further analysis as investigations continue.

The TTPS wishes to remind members of the public that any information related to illegal firearms or suspicious activity can be reported to the police.
