For many parents of neurodivergent children, the hardest battles aren’t at home, they’re out in public. The stares, the judgement, and the pressure to make a child “fit in” often leave families feeling isolated and ashamed.

The founder of Support SPARK by Ausome Parents, Michele Matthews, says that shame is learned and she’s hoping to work with enough families to unlearn it.
