TT National Nursing Association says NCRHA must hire more nurses
The TT National Nursing Association (TTNNA) is threatening to take the North Central Regional Health Authority (NCRHA) to court unless additional nursing staff is hired at the Eric Williams Medical Science Complex (EWMSC) in Mt Hope.
President of the TTNNA Idi Stuart issued the warning as he led a silent protest at the EWMSC on November 7.
Stuart said the TTNNA was prepared to launch a class action lawsuit as he noted the staffing shortage at the NCRHA was putting both patients and nurses in danger.
