Trump Meets NATO Chief, Makes Big Revelations On Putin, Xi, ‘Drug Boat’ Strike, Tomahawks & More
U.S. President Donald Trump imposed new Ukraine-related sanctions on Russia for the first time in his second term, marking a major policy shift after months of restrained diplomacy. The sanctions target Russia’s top oil companies, Rosneft and Lukoil, which the U.S. Treasury said were directly financing the Kremlin’s military operations in Ukraine. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent urged Moscow to “agree immediately to a ceasefire,” warning that Washington was ready to take further action if peace efforts failed. Trump announced during his meeting with NATO Chief Mark Rutte.
