Donald Trump says Ukraine has until Thursday to accept a 28-point peace proposal drafted by the U.S. with input from Russia. If President Zelenskyy declines, Washington is threatening to halt intelligence sharing and weapons supplies.

American Vice President JD Vance is defending the administration’s proposed Ukraine–Russia peace framework, arguing that critics are ignoring the realities on the ground. He says any agreement must halt the fighting and prevent the war from reigniting.
