अमेरिका की ओर से रूस के दो बड़े तेल उत्पादकों रोसनेफ्ट और लुकोइल पर प्रतिबंध लगाए जाने के बाद भारत अब रूस के बदले पश्चिम एशिया, अमेरिका, लैटिन अमेरिका, कनाडा, ब्राजील आदि से कच्चे तेल की खरीद बढ़ा सकता है. पश्चिमी देशों द्वारा रूसी तेल कंपनियों को लेकर लिए गए फैसलों के बीच रिलायंस इंडस्ट्री की तरफ से बयान आया है. रिलायंस ने कहा कि हमने रूस से क्रूड ऑयल के इंपोर्ट और यूरोप को रिफाइंड प्रोडक्ट्स के एक्सपोर्ट्स पर ईयू, यूके और अमेरिका द्वारा हाल ही में लगाए गए प्रतिबंधों पर आकलन कर रहे हैं, अमेरिकी प्रतिबंध 21 नवंबर से लागू होंगे.

After the US imposed sanctions on two major Russian oil producers, Rosneft and Lukoil, India can now increase its crude oil purchases from West Asia, the US, Latin America, Canada, Brazil, etc. instead of Russia. Reliance Industries has issued a statement amid the decisions taken by Western countries regarding Russian oil companies. Reliance said that it is assessing the recent sanctions imposed by the EU, UK, and the US on crude oil imports from Russia and exports of refined products to Europe. The US sanctions will come into effect from November 21st.
