Iran attacked oil and gas sites in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Kuwait as the conflict rapidly becomes a war on the world’s energy supply. Iran says it is retaliation after Israel attacked the South Pars natural gas refinery on the Iranian coast which holds the largest gas reserves in the world. President Donald Trump says the United States was not involved in the original hit on the South Pars but is threatening to blow up the entirety of the gas field if Iran attacks Qatar again.
