Maui doctor Gerhardt Konig, who is accused of attempting to kill his wife during a hike, took the stand for a second day of testimony. Prosecutors in cross examination pressed the doctor for details about the couple’s turbulent relationship and suggested Konig had a financial motive to kill his wife instead of divorcing her.
