Norman Francis, the trailblazing civil rights attorney who helped to integrate New Orleans and lead Xavier University for nearly a half-century, has died at 94. In 2006, President George W. Bush awarded Francis with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
