TODAY New Year’s Eve Celebrations Around the World Ring in 2026

Some one million New Year’s Eve revelers packed Times Square in New York City to watch the famous ball drop and ring in 2026. Celebrations also took place across the United States and around the world with fireworks lighting up the night sky from Seattle’s iconic Space Needle to Australia’s spectacular Sydney Harbor Bridge.
