Maxim Naumov says it was “unbelievable” to make his family’s Olympic dream come true, one year after his parents, former Russian Olympians Evgenia Shiskova and Vadim Naumov, tragically passed away in an American Airlines crash. “I had big shoes to fill, my parents being Olympians, and I so badly wanted to be like them. And to be able to finally bring that to fruition, it’s an unbelievable feeling.”
