Tributes are pouring to beloved songwriter Brett James who died in a single-engine plane crash on Thursday. Carrie Underwood, who collaborated with James on her Grammy-winning hit “Jesus, Take the Wheel,” wrote, “Brett’s passing is leaving a hole in all of us that I fear won’t ever go away.” Kathie Lee Gifford is also paying tribute to the musician who she collaborated with writing, “Brett changed my life in many ways.”
