Thai Queen Mother’s body taken to Grand Palace to be enshrined
The body of Thailand’s former queen Sirikit was transported on Sunday (Oct 26) in a procession to the Grand Palace to be laid to rest.A large convoy comprising dozens of vehicles left Chulalongkorn Hospital which had seen crowds of mourners gathering since her death was announced on Friday. The Queen Mother will lie in state for one year before cremation. #thailand #thainews
