Thailand has extradited gambling kingpin She Zhijiang to China. It follows a November 12, 2025, decision by a Thai court to uphold a 2024 extradition order. She is accused of setting up and operating an illegal gambling complex worth US$15 billion in Myanmar’s border town of Shwe Kokko, which is suspected of being an organised crime and human trafficking hub.
