Sonam Wangchuk’s Case: SC Orders Detention Details, Next Hearing Oct 29 | Ladakh | News18 Urdu

Gitanjali Angmo, wife of activist Sonam Wangchuk, spoke about their legal fight. On October 6, their first court petition asked for the reasons behind Sonam’s detention and updates on his condition. They were allowed to meet him, and Gitanjali visited him in Jodhpur on October 7 and again on October 11, where they received the detention orders. In the latest Supreme Court hearing, two orders were passed: one to share Sonam’s challenges to the detention, and another to allow Gitanjali to amend their application to challenge the detention reasons. The next hearing is set for October 29.
