Small drop in overall crime, but major crime up #CaribbeanBroadcastingCorporation

Acting Commissioner Erwin Boyce said that to date, there has been a 2% decrease in crime generally, compared to the same period last year.

But major crimes against the person have increased by 50%, and firearm-related crimes are up 57%.

Acting Commissioner Boyce provided the update at a press conference this morning.

And Acting Commissioner Boyce says the Barbados Police Service is focusing on tackling these major crimes.
