Slovenian finance minister: Must learn how China spurs innovation from R&D investments #CGTN

China has made significant progress in science and technology during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, particularly in artificial intelligence. The 15th Five-Year Plan emphasizes the need to vigorously implement the innovation-driven development strategy.
“It’s a big question and a challenge for us how to connect larger investments with the innovative society. So, this is something we want to learn from China: how to connect the R&D with the innovative society, how to build the whole ecosystem of innovative society.” said Klemen Boštjančič, minister of finance of the Republic of Slovenia, in an interview at the Bund Summit 2025 with CGTN host Michael Wang.
