Singapore households, businesses need to do their part to conserve energy: Gan Kim Yong
Singapore households will need to do their part to conserve energy, partly by adopting simple measures such as using fans instead of air-conditioning, and taking public transport instead of driving, said Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong.
He added that businesses can also conserve energy by tapping on schemes and investing in more efficient equipment.
Mr Gan was giving a ministerial statement in parliament on Tuesday (Apr 7), on the impact of the Middle East conflict on Singapore. #singapore #sgnews
