Ukraine has welcomed US President Donald Trump’s set of sanctions on Russia,
targeting two of its largest oil companies – Rosneft Oil and Lukoil. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called it a strong and much-needed message, and a clear signal that prolonging the war comes at a cost. The European Union is also imposing a package of sanctions on Moscow, targeting key energy revenues; including a ban on Russian liquefied natural gas. Will Denselow reports from Brussels.
