Russia Finally Abandons Nuclear Pact, Dumps Apocalyptic Pact Amid Trump’s Missile Push for Ukraine?
In a stunning move, Russia’s State Duma voted to withdraw from a key Cold War–era plutonium treaty with the United States, just as Trump considers sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. Moscow’s decision ends a 2000 pact that mandated disposal of 34 metric tons of weapons-grade plutonium on both sides.
