Road tax cuts ‘too blunt a measure’ to tackle fuel price surge: Jeffrey Siow
Providing road tax rebates or reductions to support those who rely on their vehicles for their livelihoods would be “too blunt a measure”, said Acting Transport Minister and Senior Minister of State for Finance Jeffrey Siow in parliament on Tuesday (Apr 7).

Responding to a question from Workers’ Party MP Pritam Singh, Mr Siow added that the government’s approach is to provide directed support to SMEs, companies, drivers and those who are more directly impacted by fuel prices. #sgnews #singapore
