Reuters Snow blankets Cortina as workers race to finish venues

Heavy snow fell on February 3 on the northern Italian mountain venues that will host the ski and snowboard events at the Milano Cortina Olympics, helping to provide a fitting backdrop for the Games.

Workers in Cortina d’Ampezzo and Livigno, co-hosts of the 2026 Winter Olympics, are racing to put the finishing touches on venues just days before the official start of the Games.
