Return to Russian fuels would be a blunder, EU chief says
European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told the European Parliament that returning to Russian fossil fuels to ease soaring energy prices would be a “strategic blunder.” Since the start of the Iran war, gas prices have surged 50% and oil prices 27%, von der Leyen said.
