Reached home at 3 a.m. and they were still waiting
After more than 20 hours on the road, a couple made it home at 3 a.m. ahead of the Chinese New Year, only to find the lights still on and a warm meal waiting. That’s what home feels like.
The Chinese New Year travel rush kicked off in China on February 2 and will last 40 days. Cross-regional trips are expected to hit a record 9.5 billion, with about 80 percent of travelers choosing to drive.
