PolitiFact fact-checks Trump’s UNGA claims
President Donald Trump spread multiple falsehoods on immigration, renewable energy use and his involvement in ending wars during his address Tuesday morning at the United Nations General Assembly.

Among his false claims, he said that China builds wind farms, but does not use them in their own country. In fact, China outpaced all countries last year by increasing its wind and solar power production.

He also repeated his claim that he “ended seven wars.” While Trump has played a role in international events, some of the conflicts he has cited in the past have not been wars, or have yet to end.
