Policymakers developing modern National Cultural Policy #CaribbeanBroadcastingCorporation

Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office with responsibility for Culture, Senator Dr. Shantal Munro-Knight, says extensive consultations have already been completed, and preliminary data has been collected.

She says the data gathered will help determine what will go into the National Cultural Policy.

Minister Munro-Knight was speaking at the official launch of The Space, a creative studio rental facility at Landsdown, Christ Church.

She also revealed that the data shows while Barbados’ export of creative services is average, creatives are not making the necessary investment in exporting.
