Patrick Herminie sworn in as Seychelles sixth president | REUTERS
Patrick Herminie was sworn in as Seychelles’ sixth president on October 26, after defeating incumbent Wavel Ramkalawan in a run-off election. Herminie won 52.7% of the vote, returning the United Seychelles party to full control of government.
