Argentine President Javier Milei and his party La Libertad Avanza (LLA) have scored a landslide victory in the 2025 legislative elections, securing 40.84% of the national vote and dramatically expanding their power in Congress.
Speaking before cheering supporters outside the Casa Rosada, Milei hailed the election as a “new beginning” for Argentina, celebrating both the new voting system and his party’s historic gains: 101 seats in the Chamber of Deputies and 20 in the Senate.
