NYPD rescues injured bald eagle from icy Hudson River
An injured bald eagle stranded on an icy sheet of the Hudson River was rescued by NYPD Harbor officers in an operation captured on body camera footage. Officers worked carefully to save the distressed bird and transport it to a New Jersey animal sanctuary, officials said.
