A Turkish Air Force F-16 fighter jet crashed in Balıkesir.
The aircraft was assigned to the 9th Main Jet Base Command.According to reports, the crash was very serious.
One pilot lost his life in the accident.
Officials have confirmed that the pilots have been “martyred.”

The crash site is reported to be near the Bursa-Izmir highway.
As soon as the incident was reported, ambulances and police vehicles immediately arrived at the scene.
Emergency response teams cordoned off the area.
The incident occurred at approximately 12:50 a.m. local time while the jet was on a mission flight.
