The 84th annual session of Indian Roads Congress (IRC) , held in Bhubaneswar Odisha , elections to the general council of IRC were held. 24 candidates from all-over India in which 10 engineers were to be elected and Er Jaswant Singh ,who is working as Chairman of institution of Engineers Himachal Chapter Shimla and director NSDF India ,got Re-elected as a council member by coming on 4th rank ,.. Jaswant is a fellow member of Indian Roads Congress since 2001. In a proud moment for Jammu and Kashmir, Irfan Shafi Parray, Assistant Executive Engineer (AEE) in PMGSY PIU Baramulla, has been re-elected as a member of the General Council (GC) of the Indian Road Congress (IRC). Parray secured the fifth rank in the keenly fought election. He has been a member of the Indian Roads Congress since 2011. News18 Urdu
