Need for urgent action to address childhood obesity #CaribbeanBroadcastingCorporation

An alarming statistic which Head of the Barbados Association of Medical Practitioners, Dr. Lynda Williams, says must be slashed in half to avoid dangerous side effects, including both immediate and long-term health complications.

She made the call while delivering the feature address at the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Barbados’ World Heart Day & World Stroke Day Luncheon.

The event, which celebrated the Foundation’s 40th anniversary, took place at Sandals Royal Barbados.
