NDTV Dhaka Protest News | Hindu Protests Erupt in Dhaka After Lynching of Two Hindu Men

A massive protest by Hindu groups was held in Dhaka, where demonstrators formed a human chain outside the Press Club demanding justice for Hindu men lynched in recent mob attacks. Slogans including “Jai Shri Ram” and calls for strict punishment for the killers were raised during the protest.

The demonstration was organised by minority groups highlighting growing insecurity among Hindus and other minorities following the lynching of Deepu Chandradas, a Hindu factory worker accused of blasphemy, and the subsequent killing of another Hindu man, Amrit Mandal. Protesters demanded that allegations such as blasphemy be properly investigated and not used to justify mob violence.
