MTW moving ahead with phased plan to ease congestion #CaribbeanBroadcastingCorporation

Deputy Chief Technical Officer Jason Bowen says the initiative forms part of the Ministry’s ongoing effort to create a safer and more efficient road network, particularly during peak hours.

He explained that the first phase will begin in November with a pilot project along selected routes.

Among the traffic management strategies are one-way traffic flows at peak times, park and ride facilities, and staggered school hours.

Public feedback sessions will begin next week, and the full rollout will take place in stages over the coming year.
