Sweden restarts uranium mining to bolster energy and defense:
Sweden will begin mining its own uranium again. The decision aims to boost the country’s energy security, as Sweden currently relies on deliveries from the U.S., Kazakhstan, and, until 2022, Russia. Moreover, the move raises questions about whether the radioactive element could also be used to strengthen European defense capabilities. Konrad Gorliński reports.
